The Home Depot is positioning itself to be one of the fastest-growing Home Improvement eCommerce retailers in the US as it evolves to meet the needs of its pro consumers, contractors, and everyday consumes such as DIYers.  The Home Depot knows the importance of omnichannel, and that nearly all of its customers – be they professionals or otherwise – are engaging with the brand online and on mobile. The aim, then, is to deliver an interconnected retail experience for online and in-store consumers (Future Stores, 2022). The typical store today averages 105,000 square feet of indoor retail space, interconnected with an e-commerce business that offers more than one million products for the DIY customer, professional contractors, and the industry’s largest installation business for the Do-It-For-Me customer (Global Brand Matters, 2022).
